He is the one who translated Bhagavat Geetha to Marathi which is engraved on 18 slabs of stones.

In the Gitai Mandir in Wardha, he became the person on the cover of TIME in 1953.

The first person to get MAGSAYSAY AWARD for Community Leadership

Bhave passed away on 15th November 1982.

After choosing ‘Samadhi Maran’

He was awarded The Bharat Ratna in 1983.
