The Jasmine Plant

Love is a universal phenomenon. Love is made for every living being on this earth.

Love mumbles over the nest. Love sprouts out of the land.

Love nurtures the lives of two human beings. Love builds the bonds of unity.

I have a little story that drizzled on my balcony. That was a cloudy rainy day.

The day, it rained heavily, made a clean and shiny environment.

I peeped through the window seeing that it rains no more.

I entered the balcony with a cup of tea in my hand.

A little squirreling started to squeak standing on the wirings.

It played running to and fro on my front, escaping my touch.

Half the cup of my tea went cold and

I was occupied with the cold tea and other sides of the balcony.

The little squirrel was a bit upset with my distraction.

When I turned around it, it ran towards the other wall, and I left the place.

On a shiny sunny day, I was resting on my cushion reading a book,

There was a louder noise coming from my balcony. I was disturbed by the squeaks.

I decided to get up and I found a smiley squirreling waiting for me on a jasmine plant,

That kept squeaking with its tiny vocal for minutes for my presence.

I never saw it again. Squirrels do lose their way. Someday it may visit me again.

Waiting for a drizzling of love upon me.
